 Product Description

The Comby Sampler II, is the follow-up to the original Comby Sampler. This set contains one set of needles from the popular Karbonz, Bamboo, and Nova Cubics interchangeable sets, in sizes: US size 2.5, 4, and 6, respectively. It also includes two cables to make either a 24" or a 40" cable needle (the latter is great for trying out the Magic Loop method of circular knitting); 4 end caps (Screw them onto your cable if you take off the needle tips. They will hold your project on the cable securely, while you use your tips for another knitting project!); and 2 cable keys (for gripping the cables when tightening the needle tip on).  You will appreciate having duplicate needles in these sizes, as well as the extra cables and end caps, to incorporate into whichever set you purchase; or just use this mini set on its own.

    Never had this brand or these 'styles'...I had been eye-ing them for some time but they were not available. With the assistance of knittinghelp folks (thank you! Sheldon) they found a few packages and I was able to move from my wishlist to *purchase.* Cables are great and two lengths are in the package...needles are excellent...so good -in fact- that I ordered the other / Combo I. The NOVA PLATINA are rapidly becoming my go-to favorite!

    These were recommended to me so that I could try Knitters Pride needles. I had a question and the shop responded quickly. So far the needles are great. Shipping was fast.

    The needles are great, with very clean joins with the cables. I do have an issue with the cables themselves. I tried to find an email address to contact your customer service, but found none on your website. I did submit a comment via message on Facebook, but have not heard back from you. The issue with the cables is that there seems to be a reddish residue, which left marks all over my hands immediately upon handling the cables. (I can submit a picture, if you like. I did that on Facebook, but haven't heard back, as I said.) Thankfully, the project I am starting with is using darker colored yarn. It seems odd that the cars would have a residue. This would really be a problem if I were working with lighter colored yarn.

    I'm really new to knitting and this is a great way to try out needles . I Love them all still need more practice to see which are my favorite so I can buy a complete set. I had a great experience with my purchase and had a great experience with customer service.

    Comby II is, not only a great followup companion to Comby I, but is another opportunity to trial more of Knitters Pride's excellent interchangeable needle tips economically (I hate "buyer's remorse"..... it's such a...a....a....bummer! ;o) And, BTW, this company was super fast getting it to me.
