Classic Mittens in All Sizes Yarn & Needles Kit
Product Description
This Knit Kits contains the yarn and needles necessary knit the mittens from Amy Finlay's Classic Mittens: In All Sizes streaming video & Pattern. The two skeins of yarn will allow you to 2 pairs of mittens up to Women's size medium, or 1 pair of mittens in Men's size medium and larger. The video and pattern are sold separately and are available here. If you already have the correct size DPNs, you can opt to not have the needles included in your kit.
This Knit Kit includes:
- 2 Skeins of Valley Yarns Berkshire (a soft 85% wool & 15% alpaca blend single ply yarn).
- 1 set KA US size 8 Bamboo DPN (optional)
- 1 set KA US size 6 Bamboo DPN (optional)

Amy's thoughts on Valley Yarns Berkshire: Berkshire yarn is one of my favorite yarns. The colors are lovely and combine well. There is enough alpaca to add a lovely softness, but not so much to compromise the natural elasticity of the wool. The heavy worsted weight makes it ideal for outerwear. It's my first choice for hats and mittens, and it's soft enough that even kids will wear it for a scarf. It's also ideal for felting! All this, and it is very affordable.
